We had lunch in the Coffee Shop and , although it was very busy the staff quickly cleared a table for us. They were friendly and helpful. The location is terrific, overlooking the bay and with plenty of outdoors seating for the nicer days. Also you can take your dog and sit at one of these tables or leave him... More

We walked locally to the coffee shop and enjoyed 2 x latte's, a hot chocolate, coffee and scone. We decided to sit outside as there were not midges nor rain! You get a stunning view across the bay and were served quickly with no problems. We didn't feel rushed and were able to make use of their blankets when our... More

I've eaten here many times. My dad is in a wheelchair and it's one of the few places in the area that's easily accessible. It's possible to take the wheelchair inside or sit on the sunny terrace and watch the boats in the bay. There's a disabled toilet with handrails - an easential feature when heading out with someone who's... More

As well as in a lovely harbour location, this is a true gem in many ways. You can sit on the terrace just yards from the sea or inside, but inside is quite small with just 4 or 5 tables and the loos. The staff is friendly and helpful and it's waitress service. If you sit outside & want a... More

We visited for lunch but turned up after 2pm so thought we'd be turned away. However, we were welcomed and had a lovely lunch. Being wheat intolerant, it was a nice surprise to have numerous things to choose from and substitutions available. I went with the spiced chickpea burger on a gf bun with the nicest side salad I've ever... More

We've been here many times over the years and keep coming back. Excellent food. Great value and great home made baking. You can sit inside or out and there is always something to watch in the bay. Standard menu is on the table but staff are equally happy to bring you freshly made toasties. Local artists display their work on... More

We were made to feel very welcome as we entered the coffee shop and shown to a table at the far end.....the view out to sea was absolutely stunning. We had tomato and balsamic soup which came with a good sized piece of homemade bread....delicious....followed by two tray bakes.....both to die for and excellent coffee and tea. We are just... More

This settlement might be sought of as being in something of the middle of nowhere. It is several miles along a very twisty and single-lane road. But it is a beautiful spot and this local coffee shop is one of few places to purchase any refreshment. They have very nice home-made cakes. However, be warned that the coffee shop has... More

Thanks for your review, we love our wee village. I would however like to take this opportunity to clarify our opening hours. We are now on winter hours and are as follows. Open 10-3 Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I think what you saw was the village shop hours which indeed closes between 1pm and 3.30pm. Our summer hours restarts... More
