Went to this cafe for some dessert and coffee post dinner. While we had a lovely homemade chocolate cake, the place also served local food.. We sat at the table near the window and the views were lovely..

We went here after a meal elsewhere. Their desserts are great considering this is interiors of a remote village. If we had seen this earlier, would have surely gone for a meal and some beer as well. The staff is extremely friendly and english speaking.

We ate and drank here a few times, when reviewing I have taken into account what this establishment is, it's not aiming to be fine dining, trendy night spot etc, it's a Cafe. Owner was especially friendly and welcoming, coffee strong and good, fresh orange Juice and overall food was good. Simple but good. The only place in village I... More

The cafe was located very close to our hotel. Based on the TripAdvisor reviews we had hoped for some great food. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The food was standard at best. We had spicy chicken with peanuts (not spicy), beef steak, fried beans and a pizza. Mostly not freshly made. Maybe the owners changed sinxe the last reviews.... More

My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch on our recent trip to the rice terraces. We enjoyed our meal and the view very much- a good mix of Chinese and Western dishes and a great place to enjoy a cold drink after hiking. Most of all we were overwhelmed by the kindness of the owner, Danny. We asked him... More

Food was excellent, the spring roll was incredible. Danny was very friendly, provided free wifi and takes credit card. Believe his wife does most of the cooking.. They also have fresh juices, carrot juice was delicious! Even ordered spring rolls to go on our last day.. way better than airport options :) . on a clear day the views are... More

Had a lovely meal here in the most enjoyable surroundings. Danny the host is entertaining and speaks excellent English. We only had 2 dishes and a shared dessert as we were recovering from lunch and have learnt that the helpings are larger than other countries. We had a mildly spicy chicken curry (8/10), a bamboo rice (6/10 but a novel... More

If you feel tired because of hiking, stop and step in there. Great Chinese food served with smile by friendly staff. Choose table on the terrace with view on rice terraces and village and enjoy. You don't need anything more.

We stopped in at Green Garden Coffee house (Lvyuan Cafe) exhausted from a hike and we were so glad we did! Danny was very attentive to my mother's gluten intolerance. For lunch we had the chicken steak & french fries. The flavour of the chicken, done in oyster sauce and ginger, was incredible. Dinner the 2nd night we had fried... More

What a gem this place is. Stumbled across it after a days walking and ended up staying the night. Great views, great food and a super friendly owner who spoke excellent English.
