The owner Wayne has worked really hard to create an authentic fusion of Bajan, Indian and Asian food. The food is well presented and as good as any of the more prestigious West Coast restaurants. The ambiance is a chilled and laid back vibe with...an unadulterated view...quote literally on its own beach.More

Lovely setting , lovely atmosphere , great host . Fantastic food . Loved the blackened Lionfish . Book a table as it is quite small but very popular for a good reason . We went 3 times as it was so good

I never had such a ridiculous plater. 2 tiny calamari rings, 3 tiny wings and 3 tiny fish cakes = 40$ (+ service charge) When asked if it was correct, the owner argued that calamari is imported hence the small portions. But he offered me...another ring! 3 calamari to share, yess! 😄👌More

Great evening. Stopped in around 6:00 for a meal while catching the sunset. My expectations were high and the owner and his staff exceeded my expectations. Service was great, quick, friendly and food was awesome. I had the catch of the day, Lion fish and...it was perfectly prepared and enjoyed a few Ten Saints to top it off. Guest I was with enjoyed his flying fish also. Not sure if you can set any closer to the ocean in the area. Seating is limited, we didn’t have to wait but if you have to, it’s worth it. Atmosphere was perfect and I’ll be back in a regular basis.More

We have visited Bombas regularly over the last 7 years and it has continued to improve in both service and quality of food. Service can be slow when the restaurant is busy but you go to relax for the evening and have a few rum...punches and the world seem a much better place. Wayne the proprietor is an interesting character but is very attentive and please to make sure you evening is enjoyable.More

We had been here before so we somewhat knew what to expect. Wayne greeted us and was quick to get us drinks. Evenually we got to a table at seaside and enjoyed a delicious meal - especially the curry! It was not quick as they...were short staffed, which appears to be a recurring issue.More

Bombas sits on the shoreline, it’s quaint, quirky, family run, small and unique. We never miss a visit when we come to Barbados, Wayne the proprietor is a great character

We visited the place on February 22nd 2020 is absolutely loved it. The food was so delicious that we reserved a spot for the next day by the water. It is a “must do” thing. The sunset is gorgeous by their white beach. Their waterfront...tables are amazing! We ordered their lobster crape and absolutely loved it! As a main course we had freshly caught barracuda and sweet potatoes fries. Next day we ordered their soup, beet salad and flying fish. The fish was ok. I wasn’t super impressed but the rest was great. You should try their cocktails. Loved all I ordered.More

I’m a real foodie and I love eating out. I give credit where credit is due and here its definitely not due! I had had previously a reasonable meal here, a couple of years ago, and on the basis of the pretty good reviews, decided...to go back this year. A grave mistake! How is it possible we could have such a different experience to those who’ve left such shining recent reviews? Maybe the normal chef was on holiday? Who knows but our experience was not as the reviews... The food portions were mean, of poor quality & the prices were too high.... DON’T GO!!More

We enjoyed a lovely leisurely evening at Bombas at the end or our stay. I wish we had found this place and the beginning of our stay, we would have been there every night! The food is wonderful, the drinks were refreshing and the view...was fabulous (right on the beach). Our server was wonderful as well. Nothing bad to say. Just a note to the Americans: Do not be in a hurry! You are most definitely on island time at Bombas, so sit back, relax, enjoy the view and you cocktail, life moves at a slower pace on the islands.More

Definitely would make a reservation if planning on eating after 5:00 / 5:30p. Fills up fast & there are not a lot of tables.
