After reading T.A reviews for this restaurant we decided to go and have a seafood meal . Good decision. The fish and calamary we ordered was fresh and well prepared. Somehow expensive but we enjoyed and we will return soon. Service friendly.

I have Fish and Chip at least once a week when home but this was the best I have ever eaten. The Restaurant is nothing more than a Tin shack and is run by a Husband and Wife team that are characters. No plates as you are given a paper mat. The fish and chips are then given to you... More

We came here as a group for dinner and were treated to quite the meal. I've seen a lot of reviews on here talking about the proprietor.... yes, he is quite the character. But for our group, it felt more like part of the experience. Perhaps that's because we booked far in advance so we had no issues. :-)

I am sure you should know that if you try and reserve a table one day in advance at such a well known fish and chips establishment, you should not feel hurt if you are told there's no room, by what sounded like a lady bouncer with severely restricted vocabulary but who could manage "IT'S FULL !

Can only be described as the best fish and chips in the Western Cape. Can't wait to go back and try the prawns. Just ask what is on the menu when you book as I believe they only cook what they have fresh in stock on the day. A great rustic atmosphere as well.

Over all the years we have brought overseas visitors here and they always enjoy it. For me: I am not a wine drinker and don't enjoy craft beer so a few more choices would be great.

I always book well in advance at this small restaurant in Pringle Bay as it is always fully booked. The seafood is my favourite as it is always fresh and well prepared. I love the fish & chips . Great starters as well. Amazing service and personal attention from the owner/chef . I will always return.

Enjoyed the entire vibe and set up of the place. The food was really excellent but we all felt that we could have had more food than that, that was received. They serve platters which as stated were great but just felt not sufficient for 5 hungry guys. That said we had a great evening.

We loved Hook, Line and Sinker. It has real personality. We booked ahead, which you have to do, it having been recommended to us by friends. We got the last table. It was busy. We had our hake and chips. Fresh fish and real chips, delicious! We were well looked after by the lovely ladies who were cooking and serving.... More

Because we enjoyed it so much last time, we took my folks there when they came down from Durbs. So Hook, Line & Sinker don't have a menu per-say... it depends what they get in fresh on the day, predominately seafood although we have had great steak here. It is cooked the way Stefan is cooking it, over an open... More
