A bit of a disaster on Monday. A huge queue to order food and drink. Only one person on Bar taking orders for both. Ordered our meal and owing to administrative problems order was missed and we waited for three quarters of an hour before our predicament was acknowledged. Meal came a further fifteen minutes later with no apology. Came... More

We do apologise for issues on Monday. The tills went down at the busiest time of the day which is why we had a real issue. This was explained to all customers?! 99% understood. Guess we can't appease everyone!! More

After reading the previous review we wondered about calling in, but I'm very pleased we did. The lunch time menu was perfectly fine and we had difficulty choosing our meal. The place was very busy but we managed to get a table and were efficiently served. We sat in the conservatory area with fabulous sea views and watched a playful... More

Came here looking for locally sourced fish for our evening meal but there wasn't any. Place was cold and lacked any feeling of welcome so we had one drink and left.

We arrived at the pub at the end of a couple of hours walk. It was very busy even though it was early March on a Monday. The sun was shining, we sat outside and ordered our food. The food arrived, seafood platter which included kipper pate, crab, prawns, smoked salmon and roll mop herrings with a salad and gorgeous... More

We visited on 13th March & found a busy, bustling bar/restaurant. Nice atmosphere. Dog friendly! Luckily, a table became free just as we arrived. The place remained full for the duration of our visit. It's a small, tried & tested successful menu. I was quite disappointed that by 1pm they'd already sold out of fish cakes. The crab sandwiches &... More

Lunch at the Jolly Fisherman in Craster is always a joy. Although the pub is famed for it's crab sandwiches, this time I opted for a North Sea prawn sandwich - equally delicious. Simone decided to try the kipper pate and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was tempted with a taste and must admit that I may be tempted by this... More

Sunday lunchtime visit to sample the Jolly Fisherman's famous crab sandwhich. It was very busy, but luckily a couple were leaving as we arrived, so we were able to take their table. Food ordered and delivered very quickly. Very tasty and good quality crab sandwhich and chips. Would visit again, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

On a lovely walk and found thus place. Sat outside and thoroughly enjoyed the Crab sandwiches. Good selection of food and nice pint of Landlord. Great views of the castle and harbour from the beer garden.

Amazing food yet again, the crab soup is to die for, the kipper Scotch egg is amazing, and all our mains hit the spot perfectly.
