I travel a lot, mainly for work, and, when I have time, just for leisure. So I pretty often eat in restaurants all over the world. This is my third consecutive year at Burlagio' and coming back here is always a pleasure. Strangely there are not many traditional places in Milan and surroundings when it comes to the real "milanese... More

Although it is a little less then spectacular it is a very homely and pleasant place to visit. The food is very good and typical Milanese, that said there was plenty for me, as a vegetarian who occasionally eats fish, to choose from. I have been there twice and each time I had a very pleasant time. It is also... More

I live abroad and every time I return home all I crave for is good authentic Italian food....we stopped at Bulargio' on the way back from Linate to Pavia - very simple entrance but inside the venue is very well taken care of. We had eggs with truffles, stuffed courgettes flowers, sautéed cod with cherry tomatoes (in the picture with... More

The restaurant is very discrete from the outside, buy very cozy and big internally. The food is good, portions big, service correct and prices high for the location, but ok for the quality.

A quiet place for a delicious dinner, with typical old school milanese food and some very good extras

I wonder whether anyone will ever be interested in a review in English of a restaurant located in the middle of nowhere, which is not worth the trip. They had told me Burlagiò was a typical trattoria, with good food at an affordable price. In my experience the food is fairly poor (the bruschette were dull and the risotto alla... More

Had business lunch like most of the people there between 12 and 2 pm on a weekday. The service was adequate, nice ambient. Had the buffet apetizers which were great (lots of veggies, salame, even nervetti -very milanese), then a tagliata with radicchio and parmesan cheese. Perfectly rare, in one word divine. Had water and two coffees. The total came... More

Traditional old "trattoria milanese" with typical food like Risotto alla milanese, Cotoletta, etc. Atmosphere is quite normal in an old building right on the street, but food is good quality. Prices are not low and for a 3 course dinner you have to spent around 50,00 euro/each wine (not special) included.

The restaurant was not full at all but service has been almost a disaster: nothing to say on the attitude (very gentle) nor on the know-how of the waiters but they disappear for tens of minutes, forcing me twice to get up and hunt them around the place for ordering some additional drinks with my maincourse. Food is average-plus (the... More
