Dropped in for dinner without reservation and was pleasantly surprised. Food was tasty and plentiful with portion sizes being more than enough for our appetite. Nonya chicken was very good with a pleasant flavour and the right spice mix for us. The noodle dish, although very nice, could have done with a bit more flavour. Staff were very friendly and... Six people for dinner on a Saturday night. Not many people in the restaurant? We had a cross selection of dishes at reasonable prices. Tase was a bit bland for us, but good to eat.

Terrible. $60 and most of it ended up in the bin. Hubby and I were excited to try somewhere new for a Friday night takeout after a fortnight apart due to work. What a disappointment. Gluggy, disgusting meat, flavourless. We ordered nasi goreng, chow Kwai Tao and Mongolian lamb. We'll never be back

Love this place, food, service and décor all great. Only downside is, it's closed on Mondays! Always go there when we're in Melbourne.

It is located in a convenient location at the food strip of Koornang Road. Compare to the other restaurants in that area, this one is comfortable and clean. Price is slightly higher than the others but I think it is well deserved for the quality of food delivered.

I have been to Kuala Lumpur restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. The food is served fresh cooked and is very reasonably priced. Service is friendly and attentive without being ' over the top' I have taken visitors from Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Germany and all have really enjoyed the food. I cannot understand Nay Tay's comments as... More

This restaurant has been a fixture in Carnegie for a bout 30 years. The staff are beautiful, the food delicious and the atmosphere fantastic. It is pretty busy most nights- which is saying a lot in a street full of exciting new restaurants. My favourites- peking duck, coconut prawns, the duck, mongolian lamb. Lots to choose from, and I have... More
