If its good enough for Ed Sheeran (signed his first contract there) its good enough for me. A changing lunch and evening menu yet it retains a pub feel with excellent beers and lagers. A more recent addition is the wood fired pizza annex, open open four days a week.

Travelled to Framlingham for a catch up with family and picked this venue for lunch. A really great, friendly and ideal choice it was too! Excellent choices of starters and mains - we variously chose kedgeree, bangers and mash, seafood platter and the fabulous station cheese and bacon burger. This pub is just outside the main town but well worth... More

This is my idea of a fantastic pub. Unpretentious but fantastically tasty food in a pub that welcomes both drinkers and eaters

Rustic tables, friendly staff and plenty of local beers on tap. Traditional dishes are offered alongside more exotic fayre like snails and calamari. A great place for friends or family and macaroni cheese available for smalls! The Thursday night pizzas are popular - unfortunately I didn't have time to sample one this time. Cosy and welcoming - just what you... More

Best meal we've had in the area. Great food and a nice selection of local Earl Soham beers. Good to go somewhere serving quality restaurant food, not just pub grub. Service was spot on. Will be back!

We booked the day before on recommendation from a friend: With 6 month twins and a six year old we were conveniently booked in the snug which we had for ourselves: The staff could not have been more attentive, providing two high chairs and heated bottles and baby food without a blink. We arrived at 12.00 and the pub was deserted... Hannah who took the booking over the phone couldn't have been more helpful,as we were not sure of final Nos 4/5 or 6 'no worries. However I wasn't told we were in the snug Only two tables and away from the buzz of the main seating area, which in hindsight was a blessing as my father-in-law is hard of hearing, could have been... Better reserve a table - this pub is very popular - scrubbed pine tables & good market town pub atmosphere. Try the garlic prawns & salad for a light lunch - excellent. Couldn't be better if you were in Spain and having tapas (apart from the weather!)

Visited a couple of days ago. You could easily drive past and think it's a dive but inside it's a little gem. Totally unspoilt (no shabby chic here) still got the nicotine stained ceiling. Plenty of choice of Earl Soham brewery beers and a very varied menu. We called in at lunchtime only wanting a snack as we were eating... More
