My husband had spotted this address on TripAdvisor following the positive reviews. We went there for lunch yesterday and we were not disappointed with our meal. Even if the place doesn't look like much, I can guarantee you that it's worth it. Chicken colombo for €5 with €1 for the garnish. Chatrous cooked to perfection that are not rubbery for €12. We had lunch for 4 for €35, having had 2 beers and a bottle of water.

Excellent restaurant in Le Moule.
The welcome is not very friendly at first but ultimately the lady is very nice.
€5 for chicken colombo, €2.50 for the side dish, an unbeatable price for a delicious meal.
No-frills restaurant.

We are West Indian but from another island. Since the beginning of our stay, we have been looking for authentic Guadeloupean cuisine, that of our grandmothers. We stopped by chance at La Tonnelle and had a great time there. It’s simple but truly authentic cuisine. You can feel the love in it. The lady may seem a little distant at first, but after chatting a little, we could have stayed all afternoon chatting. She aspires to retire but her husband, who is behind the stove, continues to put the same passion into what he prepares. A hearty plate of grilled chicken for €5, local fried fish for €12 and the best charroi fricassee we've ever eaten (sorry grandma!)
For the fish, after reading a comment, and yes it has bones. But it’s somewhat normal…..and even reassuring because it’s fish. And as it depends on the fishing, some are more or less full of bones.
In short, if you want to eat a good meal as we like it at home, this is the place to know.
Before the lady succeeds in convincing her husband to retire! 😜

Restaurant that doesn't look like much... but the dishes are very good and plentiful. Better to come not too late for maximum choice. The quality to price ratio is excellent !
