I was born and I do live in Santa Margherita Ligure, I grew up with nonna and mamma's food and when it comes to certain staff like ravioli, vegetable pies and slow cooked beef I thought no one could do it the same way especially in a restaurant. Well after so many years I am happy to say I was... More

I have been to La Brinca a few times with my Italian partner and his family. They are big foodies and love La Brinca. The food is delicious, from the starters, to the mains, desserts and wine. I recommend one of the set menus, as they have a variety of Ligurian classics. Service is also fantastic, these people are real... More

We could not have found anywhere better to celebrate our 44th Wedding Anniversary. A challenging drive up a steep and winding road whet the appetite for a quite exceptional dinner in a beautiful setting. We succumbed to the landlords tasting menu - and were beaten by the fourth of six courses - having to take the cakes away in a... More

Really recommend this restaurant located in the mountains. We took the vegetarian menu and it was superb. Even my becoming husband that loves meat loved this menu. The food is traditional, homemade and really worth the money. We paid 50 euro for a 5 course menu inc 4 different wines. Actually it was 7 courses if you include everything that... More

True Ligurian cooking + family hospitality tucked away in the mountains. Can highly recommend the menu featured homestyle Ligurian dishes which the locals (and few visitors that dare the drive up) seem to visit very regularly. We went back in the same week as the quality and value is what we appreciate in Italian cuisine. Don't forget to checkout the... More

This restaurant was a highlight of our holiday. It is way off the beaten track and looks out over a pristine mountain landscape. We were given an 'amuse bouche' of fried zucchini flowers along with their home made olive bread - a great start. We had their local vermouth as an aperitive served with a sprig of wonderfully aromatic mint.... More

La Brinca is definitely a good reason to come to Liguria on purpose. Great local food, superlative ingredients terrific wine list. Both father and son sommeliers and recently the son is nominated best Liguria sommelier. Off the tourist route, top cuisine with a terrific quality price ratio.

A beautiful little restaurant with extaordinery terace to a magnificant view. All a round it you can see the vegetables you will find on your table later. And the food!!! We had the complete menu with wine pairing, everything was perfect. After hours of eating we had to rest a bit under the early spring sun before heading home. Strongly suggested.
