Visited 3 times during our weeks stay in Berrynarbor 1st we dined in the restaurant area as it was our wedding anniversary, had a 3 course meal that was absolutely superb. Went twice more just for our tea couldn't fault it. Gracie the young lady working in there couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this very... More

Ye Olde Globe is a genuine 17th century pub in an even older building in a very pretty village. On a cold October evening it the wood burner was very welcome. The pub is not open all day and we were the first in the evening, but it soon filled up and it had a lovely village pub atmosphere. The... More

An Inn dating from 1675 but prior the working cottages leading rise to a truly wonderful place to dine. A 400 year old cobbled floor so polished it's smooth - lots of original parts of building still exposed - the quirkiness well utilised...... Food good quality and quantity home cooked. Good selection available and staff attentive. Steak/kidney and ale pie... More

Ye Olde Globe Inn .fitted perfectly .Eating a beautiful meal in a business dating from 1675 an inn converted from 3 former cottages, flooring 400 years old .with a well under the dartboard area ,truly different. Take your time to view the antiques and curios not to be found in any... More

Pretty shambolic front of house....could not find a wine list and the menus showed the ravages of the season and previous diners dinners. However the chef/cook did rather better than we expected from the first experience....starters were good and my steak delicious. Despite initial misgivings I enjoyed the meal and would be back when next in Berrynarbor.

I'll start off with my one negative before moving onto the many positives....we arrived at the pub around 5:20pm to find the doors locked. The website and the opening hours on the pub doors state that it opened at 5pm so I phoned the pub and no one answered. We had a hungry baby in the back of the car... More

We were staying on a nearby caravan site and heard good reports about this establishment so we and friends decided to book for Sunday lunch. As a party of 8 we expected a bit of a wait but it was so well worth it. Staff friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure we had everything we needed. The food... More

"Open daily from 5pm" says the sign... So we arrive at 1715 and its firmly shut and no one answering the phone. Awful

We booked a table for 7pm as it was our anniversary. However, due to a shortage of chefs and a high number of people awaiting meals, our meal was delayed by an hour. The food could not be faulted and was delicious - lasagne and chilli and the restaurant gave us complementary drinks to make up for the wait.
