A good place to eat when visiting Cucugnan and the Chateau de Queribus. Our group had the plate of the day, lamb (an okay cut, but somewhat grisly), an omelette, and smoked salmon.

Second visit here (previous on in Feb 2016) and equally excellent food. I had one of their salade composee options - delicious €16. They had several menu options but the menu du jour is only on offer at lunchtime Monday to Friday. We enjoyed both the food and very efficient pleasant service. We hope to return again!

Stayed the night here on our walk along the Sentier Cathare. Very good indeed. We had the half board. Dinner was great from the 29 euro menu. The room was just what we wanted, three bedded with aircon which was a really welcome addition. But the breakfast was where they excelled. We were walking for a week and this was... More

Our friends are foodies and they loved this place. Each and every plate that went past us looked interesting and we were so excited to get our meals. Everyone was happy with what they had. The children enjoyed the menu enfants which can become a bit tedious for them if they aren't adventurous. If you are in the region, you... More

We have visited this restaurant a few times , and always enjoyed our meal. This time we found that the menus had not changed much , lacked flavors, though very well presented. Strangely all the savory dishes seemed overly sweetened. Dessert was very nice . A little disappointed for the price . Maybe taken their eye off the ball !

We called in here on the off chance and were really glad we did! It doesn't look much from the outside but appearances can be deceptive. The food and service were second to none. We had the set menu at 30 euros. Our starters were amazing - immacutalely presented and the flavours were fantastic. I had the asparagus and foie... More

We visited this restaurant five times during our stay in Cucugnan. Andres the owner/concierge was an amazing character and made our visits special. The house wine was produced at the local Chateau Trillol - visible from the restaurant, as were the vineyards where the grapes were grown. Food - although perhaps limited in range was of excellent quality and totally... More

We ended up eating here because the restaurant at our hotel was closed on the night we stayed. As I hadn't planned to eat out I wasn't sure what we were going to get but have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, service was excellent and the food was very nice indeed. I would... More

We were seriously impressed the first time we ate here but our second visit left us and our two friends almost unable to put into words how fantastic our food was. Every dish was inventive, beautifully presented and bursting with subtle and harmonious flavours. Service was friendly, efficient and nicely paced. The wine list comprises mainly local wines and offers... More

Good service and great food. Also the local house wine in a "pichet" was very good. Nobody spoke English but we were able to communicate fine.
