Met with friends for lunch midweek. Sat outside as lovely day. Good range of good quality food at reasonable price and generous portions. Knowledgeable staff and owner run. A fun place and full of local history. Also shop.

Varied menue, good kids menue. Friendly but not always prompt staff. Bar staff not as friendly as waiters.

Possibly the best BLT I've ever had. Delicious & too much to eat. Half ended up going with us. Her seafood chowder was packed solid with good stuff & really enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Good solid food. I would particularly recommend the prime beef fillet which was cooked to perfection. Friendly staff.

We arranged with Brendan to have my wife's birthday meal here. We ate early as we had 3 small children in the party, so took the decorations over in the afternoon. Brendan was happy for us to leave the decorations there and they set it...More

Would agree with Jackie T and DMMWT - large outdoor eating area if the weather is good!
