While visiting another restaurant in Zihua, a woman mentioned if we had heard about Chuleto's. Having said no, she proceeded to explain that Chuleto's had the best escargot in town. Being somewhat adventurous, we decided to try it out. That was a great decision! The waitress was quite accommodating and helpful with our choices. We did share an order of... More

Excellent restaurant if what you look for is good food. This unpretentious place, ironically specialized in French traditional cuisine is absolutely excellent. Don't miss out on the quail or the artichoke.

Went for dinner on a Saturday evening to one of our favourite Zihuatanejo restaurants. Started with the mixed salad followed by two orders of tuna crusted in pepper and quickly seared. Perfectly cooked. Moist tender fillet served with a mixture of fresh vegetables. The dishes are large so we did not have dessert. The restaurant is at a nice location... More

We really liked Chuleto and will be returning. The steamed artichoke and the dipping sauce were excellent. I had mahi with a creamy white wine dill sauce, rice and spinach, all very well cooked. My wife had a really thick pork chop that also was cooked just right. We both thought the rice was a step above what you see... More

Five of us had an excellent dinner at Cafe Chuleto last night. Fresh, yellow fin tuna was available and was chosen as an entree by three of us. Seared on the outside and mouthwateringly delicious!! One friend who was visiting Zihua for the first time (also a restauranteur) commented on the excellent quality of the tuna. We also enjoyed the... More

We are from México cita and visit Ixtapa around two or tour times a year. You would not think eating quails or artichokes at the beach, but dont miss trying them at El Chuleto. A very small and simple Restaurant Eat the best french food in town. Dona Mary the cook learned all of her recipies from a Swiss chef.

Had I reviewed this restaurant after our visit in June, I would have rated it excellent. But a return visit last week proved disappointing. We ordered seared tuna with wasabi mouse, which was perfect as always. We also ordered the beef medallions, which on the previous visit were tender, mouth watering, delicious. This time, they were so tough we could... More

Chuleto's continues to turn out great meals and if you remember Paul's from days back - they've recreated the same menu. My husband claims the best pork chops in town. I like the grilled quail and steamed artichokes. Have friends traveling with you - introduce them to this jewel of a find in Z. We are going back and without... More

Zihwhat has some fabulous restaurants. this is just one more. On the boardwalk or paseo. we were a group of 6 and ordered various meals. The prawns and white sauce was excellent. Felt good to have pork for a change with mushroom sauce. If you feel like something lights the bean soup was really goo also. Service was good but... More
