Had curd and treacle on the way to cinnamon palace hotel ( great hotel). Freshly made of excellent quality from local buffalo milk.
There are many wayside stalls that sell the locally prepared curd, which is a very healthy food. Ask for curd made from Buffalo Milk, and insist of Palm Honey prepared from the kithul tree. Other local sweets are also avaibale to purchase.

You have to try this: yoghurt made from buffalo milk. It has a very distinct taste and add a bit of kithul treacle you are in haven. We even bought two clay pots of these to keep in our room fridge eat in our hotel....More
Definitely worth the try - its local and fresh and good for your health. Eating 1/2 litres in one go was not a problem for me :)
We had better curd and treacle at our hotel Saraii. What we had the hotel was fresh and creamy. Need improvement.
