Just had a beautiful light lunch here. A sharing platter of the freshest smoked salmon and a glass of wine, delicious apple pie and coffee to follow... just perfect. Cosy friendly atmosphere and good service.

Wonderful food overlooking the sea at Glandore. Extra friendly staff, nice surroundings, comfortable for a solo eater. I had a mackerel platter, thought it was too much just for me, ate it all and enjoyed every bite. Simple food, great flavours, fantastic homemade bread. Was...really too full to eat anymore but I found a corner for an irresistible homemade ricotta cake. As Mr Michelin says 'worth a detour'.More
I ate here Monday evening and really loved the quaintness and cosiness of the place. The food was lovely, served by lovely staff. The seafood pasta is excellent, I love the layout of the restaurant and overall we had such a pleasant night. Will return.
We had lunch there last Saturday, fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was great. We will be back for sure. Thank you.

Just leaving Glandore been looking forward to eating in Hayes it's been a while. Honestly wouldn't go back. One Seafood dish on the menu fair enough it's Sunday chicken curry (chicken legs) and lamb tagine (tasted like frozen lamb). Definitely won't be back and it...was to be a highlight of the staycation.More
Ate in Hayes recently and enjoyed meal and found staff very efficient re Covid regulations.... I had seafood pie and it was delicious and plenty of fish in it. We shared a mint choc cheesecake again delicious, well presented, and very generous portion.
Ona visit to West Cork my Husband and I travelled to Glandore for lunch. There were a lot of people around as it was a nice day. There were two tables free outside so we sat at one. We were about to order a drink...when a lady told us they were closed until five o clock and there was no point in coming back as all of their tables were booked for later. We were shocked as we have eaten here on numerous ocassions. I know with restrictions due to Covid pandemic make it more difficult. I could not understand when this restaurant is only open for a few months in the year that they would close in the middle of the day when there were big crowds around. It was a pity as we were looking forward to our meal.More
