Firstly the staff were lovely, prompt with their service and came to the table multiple times to check on us, apologetic when we complained. Calamari starter was seasoned well but so overcooked that most of it was fed to the seagulls. The main course was...sent back (and removed from the bill) as it was inedible, some parts raw and some parts overcooked/burnt. Also a dead fly in the potatos. Fish and chips main was fine but not very tasty. Paid €9 for a sub par glass of wine too. Very disappointing experience after a long drive out thereMore

We have been regular customers of the Glandore inn for many years, and have always enjoyed our visits. We had lunch there today and the food as usual was excellent. However I was disappointed when I checked the bill when I got home. My 13...year old wanted pasta from the kids menu, €6.90 but at 13 we decided that she probably wouldn't have enough in a childs portion. There was no pasta available on the normal menu, so I asked the waitress if I could order the kids portion in adult size. It arrived, pasta, tomato sce and cheese. It was fine and she enjoyed it. However when I checked bill I was charged 2 × €6.90.... 2 childs portions €13.80. I expected to pay around €10. It would have been perfectly adequate for what it was. We left €110 euro three today and felt a bit ripped off by their decision on the pricing of pasta dish.More

When in the area we always drop into the Glandore Inn for lunch & we're always pleased. The owner (very friendly & loves a chat) checks Covid passes, details etc on arrival, so that's very reassuring. Food is really good, fresh, very tasty & very...well presented. The staff are always so welcoming, efficient & friendly. The place was spotless & there were no delays whatsoever. There's a choice of indoor seating or outdoors overlooking Glandore Bay, which is surrounded by stunning views, so a great location & a really nice spot. Covid restrictions were adhered to fully. It's a very popular place which is not surprising, so we'd definitely return again when in the area.More

We had the day's special, baked cod with, I think prawn sauce, which was really delicious. This restaurant serves meals from 1-7 pm on a first come first served basis outside where the view is amazing.

This is a really great place for food or a drink. The service is very good even though they are always busy and the food is really nice. It's the view that really makes it special. Get a table across the road from the restaurant...overlooking the harbour and sit back and relax. FABULOUS!More

On a recent trip to west cork my Husband and I visited the Glandore inn for food. It was a lovely day and they were serving outdoors. The view is just amazing. It was fairly busy but not crowded. There was a lovely atmosphere and like...being on a foreign holiday. My Husband had the seafood chowder and it was tasty and delicious.I had the smoked salmon sandwich and it was great. We both had cheesecake which was devine and two coffees. We enjoyed our visit and hope to be back again soon.More
