We went 2 nights . Both times service awesome. Food amazing. Worth every penny. Don't worry if it's full it's worth the wait. It's quaint.. it's small.. it's lovely.

We ALWAYS have at least one meal in the Old Ship when we are in Snowdonia. The pub is cosy and welcoming and main meals (including Sunday roast) are generous and delicious for all the family. The Vegetarian Lasagna, Steak and Ale pie and Chille Con Carne are always favourite and they usually have one or two great fish dishes... More

Called in here lunchtime on a Sunday for a meal, bar wasn't very busy, so we thought we wouldn't have long to wait for our food, wrong, one young lad behind the bar taking orders and serving drinks and a waitress of about ten years old carrying desserts. We ordered just two meals, after half an hour of waiting our... More

My wife just said "It was... More

I try to avoid leaving negative feedback, but I think it is important to be honest when leaving a review. We took a walk over to Trefriw with friends and our children and called into the Ship as the first pub we tried was closed. Getting prams in and parking them up was difficult as there's not much room. Unwilling... More

We came here for what we hoped was a lovely Sunday dinner (in the evening). I ordered the beef roast and my partner the lamb roast. We were informed that this was the last remaining of the lamb. In hindsight that should have rang alarm bells! When the food arrived we had a few slices of over cooked meat and... More

We have stayed in Trefriw on a week basis for the last 3 years and always ensure we eat here at least twice. The menu is well thought out and plenty of specials also. I have enjoyed the pepperpot beef on two occasions and also love the mushrooms in garlic and stilton. The atmosphere is very welcoming and staff and... More

Lovely little traditional pub , with friendly bar staff and really good food . A small menu but everything we tried was great! We came back the second night. Worth finding if you staying nearby (Betws -y- Coed)
