Best beef fillet and first and best braised Jacobs Ladder I've ever had. This was definitely an experience to remember. Expensive but worth every penny.

We came here for a birthday celebration, It was all as expected. We had a walk around the gardens for 45 min before being seated at a table in the garden for aperitifs at 7.30, our table was booked for 8.00. we were not shown to our table until 8.30. ( we were asked not to be late?) we had... More

Yes, of course, it's expensive. But if you booked to go there, then you already knew that. There's a massive mark-up on the wines. But the price you pay is all relative to what's included. The food; its preparation; the upkeep and maintenance of the buildings and the grounds; the chefs, the waiters and other staff, etc. etc. We dined... More

We stayed here for a birthday celebration and it was a great experience. The food was beautifully presented and tasted great but it is every member of staff we encountered that will stay with us. They were professional and friendly without being overbearing and from the moment you arrived you felt they all knew you. This is one place we... More

Once a year my wife and I celebrate our anniversary at Le Manoir. The service is amazing, always is, the manager that brought us champagne when I proposed is still there, as are many friendly faces and they're true professionals that enjoy making everyone feel special. The food is out of this world and looks perfect every time, very difficult... More

The food is every bit as good as you'd hope with some dishes being as good as anything I've eaten anywhere in a number of top restaurants. I particularly liked the duck egg and hazelnut dish, as well as the chocolate pre-dessert. Other dishes were very good as well, but the final strawberry "cheesecake" was disappointing: mushy, deconstructed and a... More

Having been to Le Manoir before, having taken clients a few years back, and bought lunch as a present for both sets of parents who raved about it, my wife was keen to see what the fuss wa all about. I've experienced many two/three star restaurants in the U.K. and abroad (not to sound pompous, but it gives the review... More

Treated husband to a 50th Birthday lunch, choosing the seven course set menu. Restaurant was very busy and yet extremely calm atmosphere. Food was simply amazing and extremely well presented. Grounds were beautiful and well kept. Expensive but worth every penny for such wonderful food & service, a perfect experience. Still can't believe we were there for four hours. Memories... More

We took my daughter here for her 18th birthday as she loves food. The food was good, but not good enough to justify the cost and they messed up our bill so badly - they were out by 200 pounds ! I don't think we'll be going back and frankly would recommend you spend your money elsewhere.
