Have been here on a yearly basis for the last few years, it's the focal point for a day trip Grand Tour that starts in Inverary, through Glencoe and finishes back in Inverary. I visited with my Fiance and we chose the Hot Roasted Seafood...More

Pulled off the A82 at Loch Leven by a tempting sign promising a seafood cafe. It more than fulfilled our expectations. We found a very contemporary cafe / restaurant in the bank of Loch Leven. It’s part of a shellfish business that sells local product...More

Lovely restaurant serving mainly delicious seafood. Advisable to book, we went on a Monday & they were almost fully booked. Langoustines were amazing. Well worth a visit. Beautiful lochside setting .

The food at this restaurant was good. The atmosphere was cafeteria-like with the same noise level as a high school cafeteria. The service was a bit slow, but could be forgiven with the good food. However, I will say, that during our trip, we experienced...More

After reading all the glowing review we were disappointed with the overall experience - the setting resembles a cafe style with plain tables and no linen. Service was rather unorthodox and not that knowledgeable, with our order not being correctly passed onto the chief. The...More

Visited here for lunch on our way to Fort William. The food is amazing I had langoustines and my daughter had the crab. Both were wonderful and worth the hard work. This is a must for shell fish lovers.

Absolutely delicious food with the most stunning loch-side views. We ordered the razor clams, clams with garlic butter and oysters, and the quality of each dish was outstanding. The staff were pleasant and the prices were extremely reasonable, given how good everything was. A must...More

We came across this restaurant by chance. We had been walking in Glencoe, and heading back to Oban... and typed "restaurants" into Google Maps... & up this came. We had not had local seafood so far, so thought we would give it a go. A...More

Nearby the Clachaig Inn, in Glencoe or the Loch Leven Hotel top road at North Ballachulish. Some times they only have limited rooms so worth booking early. Check with the MacDonald Hotel in Kinlochleven too. :) Check out... More

Lochleven Seafood Café, Deli and Gift Shop is situated on the north shores of beautiful Loch Leven (on the B86 in North Ballachulish) on the west coast in the Highlands of Scotland. Allowing the sea loch and mountain views to take centre stage alongside our simple yet elegant seafood dishes, our café is designed modest and unamusing. Live shellfish for our family run Restaurant and Deli is kept in onsite seawater tanks where the water is pumped continuously from the cold clean sea-loch on our shore. After being caught locally by our own fishing boats, the shellfish is stored in these tanks. This allows our Chefs to access the freshest possible west coast seafood for the Restaurant and our Deli. NEW for 2018 glass fronted Coffee Shop, Bar & Waiting are with stunning view.
