We had the pidgoen and Cullen skink both amazing. Followed by venison and the burger. The burger was a little dry and slightly overcooked but the venison was perfect. Sara was very friendly and funny she couldnt do enough for us.
Superb food, served by competent, friendly and efficient staff. Made to feel really welcome in a relaxed and informal atmosphere....nothing was too much trouble, and one could almost invent one's own dishes from the extensive menu and the excellent wine list...
I have been here a few times over the years and have had no complaints, in fact quite the contrary. I have had wonderful meals whether it has been lunch or anniversary meal and the experiance has been faultless. This time though I have to...say it was slightly disappointing. There were no gluten free cake options available and only scones for my friend. It won't put us off going back as this is a small issue but maybe one that can be remedied in the future. Many thanks for an otherwise lovely morning.More
A limited, but comprehensive well-priced menu. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend the Scallops and Cullen Skink Risotto. The Lemon Possett was divine. Next time we stay, we will definitely be sampling the Taste of Scotland menu. Great service, and a good wine...list also.More
We had a birthday dinner here - took a tasting option. The food was one of the best we had and we do travel a lot around the world! Many thanks for warm and homy catering services - it made our dinner really pleasent!
