Very friendly, efficient and helpful staff. The Global suite was beautiful and spotless with its own front door. Easy parking right outside the hotel or in the carpark. The food was outstanding and we will be back.

Been a couple times both with extended family, enjoyed both meals, small menu but freshly made Friendly staff
Brilliant meal tonight. Excellent service from a very pleasant young lad and excellent food. Our first visit and can’t wait to go back. Tiny bit cold but I think it’s just down to being well ventilated for Covid reasons. Was glad to have my jacket...though. Really lovely decor and an extensive, quality menu. Thanks again :)More
Food mostly good. Service great. Lovely waitresses. Pity chef does not know what cullen skink is as what we got was more like fish pie than a soup. Needs to be looked at. We live on north east coast near where it originated and it...is a soup you eat with a spoon not a fork and knife. Very disappointed as it is a very traditional scottish dish.More
We had an excellent night on Friday as a table of ten. All correspondence and organising of the dinner was seamless and met with helpful and quick response. I was allowed to come in a few hours prior to the meal to set up with...some light decorating (it was my parents 30th wedding anniversary). Everyone had an amazing meal, the food is consistently great (have frequented many times) but the customer service on the night was the highlight, just lovely helpful staff that make you want to return - which i'm sure we will soon! Thanks again for such a great night. Cheers, JuliaMore
We were not disappointed by the food, service and atmosphere. Great bang for the buck!!! Can’t say enough!
We had a great stay at the Ship Inn, We booked the Nigg Suite which has its own wee garden which was great for my wee dog Coops, The staff were all so friendly and couldn't do enough to help, just wish we were staying...longer, there's a wee beach right across the road that Coops just loved, hopefully we'll be back soon.. thanks guys for a great stay ❤More
Booked a table for 2 for 6pm at this restaurant, due to change in circumstances we arrived with extra person. I advise receptionist that booking was originally for 2 but could she accommodate another person. The restaurant was not full and a large space could...be seen at back of restauraunt empty. The front of restaurant was not full - She pointed to the table that had been allocated originally and I asked if another chair could be added - this suggestion was declined twice. I was advised that she was not prepared to change the booking. On asking for the manager I was advised that she was not on duty. I left the premises extremely disappointed at the unwillingness of staff not even attempting to move a table and seat one other person. It is good to know that the economic climate in this area is so high it can turn away local trade. I will certainly not be back. Fortunately we were able to have an excellent meal for all three just up the road at the Marine Hotel.More
I had the Thai wings to start and then bobs special curry, both were super tasty and well presented. The restaurant is a lovely space with open fireplaces and exposed stone. Service was friendly and polite.
Had a meal a couple of weeks ago on the Sunday we both went for the Steak Pie and Chips (why they call it Steak Pie I don't know as its a stew with pastry) Stew and pastry OK but the veg was luke warm....I ordered Chocolate Cheese cake and my wife had a brownie, plenty chocolate with NO CHEESECAKE, the brownie arrived but with a broken digestive biscuit on top with 2 or 3 smarties, it didn't even resemble a Brownie Will never go back as they are just insulting the localsMore
