After travelling from Fife on our way to Skye this was perfectly located at just a couple of hours from our destination and a welcome stop off for rest rooms and food. It's a pleasant enough room with friendly staff. The food was ok - nothing spectacular, but hits the spot and tasty enough. Not a bad little place really.

Arrived for an un-booked meal on a Monday evening and was made very welcome by a lovely Polish girl. Seated in front of the open fire so it was warm and quite cosy. We chose from a fairly basic bar menu which arrived hot and cooked well. My haddock and chips were cooked perfectly with absolutely no taste or appearance... More

We were staying close by and had kept passing the Stronlossit Inn, but with all the long days out and fresh air we were getting by the time we had got washed / showered we kept just having a little snack and staying in. On our last night we decided to make the extra effort and finally made it to... More

Booked prior to visit, very courteous response. On the day great food and a warm friendly atmosphere. Welcoming fire, great selection of local beers and fine drams. Thanks guys, see you again.

The waitress was rude/unpleasant but the food was quite good. I had the steak and ale pie. Other than the pastry being burnt, it was very good. My girlfriend had the lamb shank and she absolutely loved it

A good selection on the menu to suit all and fairly priced. The service was excellent. The staff couldn't do enough.

We are regular visitors to Scotland and indeed a holiday let nearby the above establishment. We have two young children and have previously been warned off visiting the Stronlossit due to their attitude toward kids. Having heard it is now under new management we decided to give it a go. It was a little quiet when we arrived but received... More

This was a really mixed bag of a meal. Firstly the beer choice is great, the open fire is wonderful and the service was really good (but she is familiar so I can understand some of the reviews thinking she is a bit much). We liked her though! Starters special was Breaded Camembert and when it come it was still... More
