We was not impressed by what appeared to be the land lady of the pub, i was not offered wine list, and nor did i see any where around the pub ie on tables or the bar as normally displayed in pubs etc. When i was what the choice of wines was, she was sharp and sarcastic. The pub including... More

One of the few pubs in Kent owned by renowned Sussex brewers Harvey's of Lewes. Their beers are outstanding. Try the delicious mild ale or Hadlow bitter (brewed with locally grown hops). Pub is spacious and traditionally furnished. Food available at certain times (not Sunday lunchtime when I was there)

Went here today with a colleague for a lunchtime drink and pretty much came out skint. One pint of ale, a bottle of 500ml cider and a bag of mini cheddars £11:80!! Sure the barman was on the rob! Will defo not be returning.

This Pub does a friday night special of 2 steak meals and a bottle of wine for £30. We tried it and found the quality superb I asked for a steak knife but found I didn't need one. The service and atmosphere were good as well.

Sunday lunch with a good choice of eats. Spacious bar, eating area and garden. Eating a main meal later, husband and I didn't want a large meal. Decided on a ploughman's each. Delicious but was still a bit filling and I wish I'd enquired more about sandwiches. Our friends both had the roast chicken. Spuds rather cold but the staff... More

A friend and I chanced on the Two Brewers at the end of a long, hot, summer Friday afternoon walk around Oxen Hoath. Lucky us. It was just what we needed. Lovely building, fine garden, excellent drinks, top bar snacks, and very friendly and likeable landlords who have recently taken over, and I imagine given the place a fantastic new... More

We have had two very good meals here but recently have twice been very let down. One Monday when the sign outside said "Food served today" having already ordered our drinks we were then told they do not serve food on a Monday. Today the same board was outside and when going in for lunch we were told they hadn't... More

You can have a good pub meal here for a reasonable price. The lady owner is very friendly and welcoming. We listened to a group they'd brought in last night, On Edge, who were excellent. There's limited parking out the back and a small garden.

A friend and I came here for fish and chips on a Friday night, as well as a few pints of Hadlow bitter which always go down a treat. Fish is good, as are the chips and staff are friendly as well.
