This place definitely did not disappoint. We especially loved the bread with spreads. We both found out that rabbit has a lot of little bones to navigate.

My first time for dinner at this fantastic restaurant in Gozo, in my opinion, it is one of the top 3 in Gozo. We ordered 2 pastas as starter and where really Al Dente. As a main course we had the suckling pig and suckling...goat. They where so delicious. Service was excellent. Price extremely reasonable. I highly recommend Ta’ Philip will definetly be back . Keep up the excellent work !More

The perfect dinner for two in a great ambience . Relaxed . Started my meal with a cold fish platter and salad followed by catch of the day salad and roast potatoes . Andy had deep fried Brie followed by started ravioli filled with goats...cheese. Complimentary bread goats cheese and the freshest ever salad . Double jamesons and ice finished the dinner with a warmed up brandy . The chef is brilliant and the fish was cooked to perfection. The service us very personal.More

Friendly, accommodating and efficient staff, who are right at the top of their game. The food was excellent, and fast in coming. Very tasty, and beautifully presented. You'll have to go a long way in Gozo to find a better restaurant than this. Big thank...you to Philip and John PaulMore

Visited this restaurant twice over the last week . Had the antipasto to start with a sharing plate of Gozo cheese olives and different types of meat like braisola and like Parma ham stuff . Then had the spaghetti rabbit a local food of Gozo.... Followed by the Maltese gelato 🍨 ice cream then when went back I had the ta Phillip pasta special Gargnelli which was so good . Short walk if staying in the grand hotel over looking Mgarr harbour . Lots to chose from and there’s also a specials menu board too and the desserts are on another board to chose from .More

This was the best food we had during our stay in Gozo, the waiters were extremely helpful in letting us know what the specials were and which were the best local wines to try too. If we return to the island we will definitely come...back!More

Amazing food, loads of specials besides the daily menu, great service, lovely place and very fair prices. One thing I particularly love as well is that they offer an option of veg and baked potatoes besides the usual French fries, and the potatoes are outstanding....The place also has a lovely yard and wine cellar.More

This restaurant was one of our most favourite discoveries during our 2-week stay in Malta. What looks like a simple exterior leads to a beautiful oasis inside. The modern and stylish decor is simply stunning with such lovely attention to detail. The staff was wonderfully...personable and courteous. They have an extensive wine list including exclusive offerings from Gozo, which I was keen to sample and was well rewarded. The menu is varied and very reasonably priced. It was difficult to choose from such enticing selections. We were all very pleased with our choices and even more so for having found this fantastic gem of a restaurant!More

Ta Philip is one of the best restaurants in Malta. It is a hidden gem on the island of Gozo and well worth taking the time out to visit. The food is freshly prepared and tastes fantastic. There is no downside to the menu. I...could have chosen anything and expected it to be brilliant. My favourite restaurant on Gozo and we have visited the island every year for the last six years and been twice each time.More

Excellent service and food. We were greeted by the manager i believe and shown our table. He explained a bit the specials and the menu. We had a starter from the special. It was a beef lasagna, and it tasted amazing. Then we took tagliata...and ribeye for main course. Both were cooked as requested and the meat was nice and tender. Very extensive wine as well. Perfect for any occasion. One of my new favourites in GozoMore

We booked a table for 3 for dinner. As our table was near the window door there was a problem and so we tried to stop a waiter to help us...but they were all to busy so we managed ourselves. Thats when the owner himself...came and started yelling at us without even try to understand why we did .... If it was for me we should have stood up and left!! But my friends were hungry so we stayed. We had to wait nearly 1 hour before the starters arrived! The waiter was unfriendly and when told that he had brouhgt us the wrong water (fizzi instead of still water) he took it away and never came back with the correct one. The invoice for the dinner was far to expensive for the quality of the food and for the really poor and arrogant service. NEVER AGAIN!!!More
