Watched Ireland beat France, (only just) at the Beaver. It's a lovely place, a great meeting point used by locals and visitors alike. Good food, great beers, fantastic ciders and scrumpy best of all, very dog friendly! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐶

Had a fabulous meal here, home crumbed whitebait for starters, followed by venison and rump steak for mains. Perfectly cooked with great accompanying vegetables. Wide selection of beer and wine.

We’ve been here a few times and never been disappointed. It’s a typical local pub, good beer, good food and when we last visited, great live music.

Having read the reviews we thought we’d try and get in for Sunday lunch. No dogs in the restaurant area (which is fair enough) only in the bar, which was rammed! However we weren’t put off and waited for a table to become available. The...More
