Had dinner with the family Saturday night. Pleasent decor, friendly staff. Had a lovely steak, and a nice couple of pints of American ale. Was a musician on who was OK, though not the most uplifting. Certainly worth a visit!

A friendly place to visit, quieter atmosphere to sit outside and enjoy a pint. We did not eat here. Live music on sat night.

This place managed to squeeze us in despite a really last minute booking with our 5 strong youngish family on an August Saturday night. We were so glad they did. When we arrived there was Live music - a solo guitarist/singer who was amazing. Kids...More

Good steak, cooked exactly to my liking. Lacked a bit of atmosphere, but on the whole it was a good evening.

Description
Welcome to the Port of Call. I have been reliably informed that this was the 3rd house to be built in New Quay. Nestled between traditional stone built houses and shops this characterful place always offers a warm welcome. Home prepared/cooked food and fresh locally produced ingredients offer you the taste of West Wales. Take a boat trip to see the dolphins playing in the Bay or just sit and have a glass of something cold while watching the sea from our terrace.
