Stopped for coffee and glad we did. Unassuming place with lots of things to look at in the store. Easter egg with our takeaway coffees was a nice touch. Always encourage supporting small businesses like these. Wish we hadn't just eaten as menu looked great.

Top service and food. No great wait for our order and good vibe. Good coffee and very nice food. 100% better than the caravan down the road.

This is the closest restaurant to Curio Bay conveniently located by the main road. There are no real opening times. You need to call in advance and make reservation. We were lucky because there was a group reservation made and the restaurant was open. It is very pleasant place. However, the food was average. Not every dish from the menu... More

Niagara Falls cafe was recommended to us by some local Kiwis so we decided to make a visit as it was on our way. Unfortunately, this was without doubt the worst mistake we could have ever made. As we entered the vibe was quite uncomfortable. No one paid any attention to us and we then ordered our food. The food... More

We found this cafe reasonably priced, with a lovely garden and nice areas to sit. It also stocked some good nz souveniers.

On a beautiful sunny day we sat outside on the deck and enjoyed the view of rolling country and sheep. The garden is lovely, with trees, lots of flowers, shrubs and roses. The service was friendly and prompt and the food excellent with local produce nicely presented. It was hard to choose with all the delicious looking baked goods but... More

This is the only place for dinner in the area and they do not stay open late - the latest reservation they would take was 6.30 pm on a Tuesday evening. As it happened we were heading back through at 5.00 pm from our afternoon jaunt and decided to see if they could take us earlier - not a problem... More

Friendly staff at an old school house café. We had a delicious vegetable scone which kept us going. The café also has local art for sale and nice gardens with cute different color sheep running around. The café is quite trendy looking. If you prefer fish and chips, there is a small outside truck stop further down the road.
