Just returned from a delicious Easter Sunday lunch. Everything about the visit was 5 star, from the outstanding food to the warm and friendly service. The Wyndham has spoiled us for eating anywhere else in the area, so we visit often. Highly recommended for any occasion. Give it a try... you will not be disappointed.

Having eaten here more than 6 times now I have never had anything other than the most delicious and well presented food. The staff are very friendly and on the ball. Excellent all round! Highly recommended!

Quite a small comfortable unpretentious pub, popular with locals and friendly. On the evening we went, the England - Ireland rugby match was being watched in the lounge - so there was certainly plenty of atmosphere. We had a great meal - steak, which was tasty, and well cooked and an equally good plate of local sausages and mash (lots... More

Doesn't look amazing on the outside and the decor doesn't look swish on the inside, but wonderful people and great locals and excellent food. Worth dropping in again.

Six of us went out for dinner last night. We go for a meal about once every couple of months to pubs in the area and have become pretty discerning! We all thought the meal, the atmosphere and the service was excellent! Two of us had the rack of lamb which was delicious and several had the tiger prawns followed... More

On a Glamping Weekend, as normal checked TripAdvisor for recommendations. So glad we chose the Wyndham Arms, a great locals pub, with an excellent team, who last night worked really well together to give us a really nice night out. The bar staff, the waitress & the chef, who gave us the last table for 2. The Rack of Lamb... More

On holiday in the area, we used trip advisor to find a local restaurant and The Wyndham Arms lived up to its good reviews. The only surprise was that the current menu did not match the one on their website. This was only an issue for my daughter who had already decided what she wanted, but it was no longer... More

Visited The Wyndham Arms on Saturday 18th February for my friends birthday. There were five of us and we all chose T bone steak for our meals, it was absolutely gorgeous, cooked to perfection, accompanied by roasted shallot, mushroom & tomatoes, with a choice of chunky or thin fries. Nothing was too much trouble for the chef, a couple of... More

Incredible value for money; delicious food served by warm, welcoming staff. Sea Bass & scallop ceviche starter was excellent, followed by a melt in the mouth fillet steak with a Rossini sauce. On holiday from Leeds where food of this quality would cost twice the price. Will definitely be back.
