Four of us ate here without a reservation on a Sunday night, there were four or five other tables occupied. Despite lack of English the waitress was attentive, polite and wiling to help us make sense of the menu. Although we just had two courses, the atmosphere was relaxed and we stayed for a coupe of hours chatting and watching... More

While this is convenient next to the caves, it only had menus in French which made it a bit hard to order. The waiter said he could speak English but we had some miss communications like when we ordered mustard for fries and he bought out 7 cups of mustard and we got charged €4 for it :/ Also the... We were visiting for lunch. The place looked nice, conveniently situated next to the Remouchamps grottes and offered the group menu and even kids menu. Therefore it looked very convenient lunch place after visit of grottes. They have kids place too, so everything looked nice. Please keep in mind that you have to order before the visit, if coming in... More

We visited the evening before Valentines day. The restaurant was quite fully booked, but they had a table for us on the 2nd floor. To our surprise, they had a play corner for kids, which was convenient for us. Overall the atmosphere was informal. We asked for another combination of a child's dish than on the menu, but that was... More

My wife and I visited here a couple of times during a stay of four days in the area. The quality of the food is actually pretty good. One visit I had the mussels in curry sauce and another I had the meatballs. I would have four points/ stars if the consistency of the staff services had been the same... More

This restaurant was very busy with locals when we visited, and as the food is good and quite good value I can see why. On the other hand we found it noisy - in the courtyard there is much traffic noise and inside we were shown to the table opposite the entrance to the kitchen. Saying this wasn't ideal, we... More

don't look any further. Right after visiting the Grottes, have lunch on the terrace of the 1912. Food is plenty, we tried the Boulettes Liégeoises and the Brochette. Service is friendly and prices are OK for a touristy place

We had eaten here a few times. The atmosphere is quite nice unless it is packed with visitors of Grotte Remouchamps. If you are in a hurry, the snack (chicken dips, french fries ..) is served pretty quickly since it is just processed food. Some main dishes are delicious, some are ok. It is worth a visit if it is... Same experience as below. Waiter with pony tail was not amused when we ordered different kinds of tea. When we received the drinks the hot chocolate had no whipped cream (which we explicitly ordered) and the toast was cold. On the bill the whipped cream was still mentioned. Very disappointing!

All in all not a bad experience. Inexpensive and friendly but we waited a bit more than an hour for 1 salad, 1 lasagna, 1 special of the day and 1 halfroast chicken with fries and we were the only ones on the terrace outside... And in the end, they brought us the cheque and it was the wrong one... More
