We had the tasting menu paired with wine. Local food and mostly local wine. Nice variations in food. Excellent prepaired and very tastfull. Very friendly staff and traditional provencal interieur. Er hope to be back!

Situated in a romantic XVIIIth century coaching inn in Chãteau Anoux on the famous Napoleon Road between the French Alps and the Mediterranean, La Bonne Etape is a Michelin-starred restaurant serving sumptuous seasonal fare. The historical hotel is surrounded by beautiful Provençal countryside and boasts a swimming pool and gorgeous gardens, and the decadent dining room at La Bonne Etape boasts exquisite table settings and is decorated in sunny, golden colours. Signature dishes at La Bonne Etape include the pigeon in an almond crust served with cabbage and stuffed with foie gras; the escargot sautéed with mushrooms, garlic and parsley; and the roasted red mullet baked with dried tomatoes and scallops.
