We called into the Tea Room on our way to a local winery and were pleasantly surprised. We tried their scones which were served with home made jam and fresh cream. Very delicious. Teamed this with a Byron Bay coffee which was good and strong....More

Quite sad after all the high praises and recommendations I’d received for this hole in the wall, out of the way cafe at the bottom of the mountain. After being asked to find a table, and menus would be brought over . . . I...More

So let me get this right. You just gave us a one star without actually staying or eating!? The outside tables are indeed outside tables but of course you could have eaten on the deck or in the shed or in fact in the tea...More

Very expensive sub standard food with substandard setting dirty with bird droppings all over the tables overpriced and undelivered in an unkempt backyard like setting behind a shed. Delusions of grandeur bad attitude from feet dragging staff and "manager" who screams across the backyard. Would...More

Not the place for you apparently!! Sad, because it's a beautiful place. Yes we are rustic, but we are country rustic. We are definitely not city chique. If you think we are too expensive, that's cool, we don't even pretend to be a cheap eat....More

We visited here for lunch as recommended by our hotel. The service is friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We even had a cream tea which was great although no clotted cream like home! The lamington cake is a must try.

When I was last here the apple pie needed a little more time in the oven. However, on this occasion all the food was fantastic. I had the beef pie with relish which I thought was exceptional and finished with the apple pie as I’ve...More

Having been brought up in the area, we were worried when the new owners took over the tea room a couple of years ago. We were quick to criticize the famous apple pie which we felt had changed. We went yesterday as a group of...More

Hi We have a disabled ramp at the front leading onto the veranda. There is a small step into restaurant but very manageable. One of our toilets has rails but unfortunately not full wheel chair access. Cheers Simon

I'm pretty sure you can... there are plenty of outdoor seating and I've seen plenty of ramblers stopping by here with their dogs in the past... may be off limits inside the wooden teahouse but should be ok outside
