If you went from Bratislava for lunch to Hungary and you visit this place, you will not meet Hungarian traditional cuisi

The restaurant offers modern, interesting dishes, disappointment is for those who looked forward to traditional Hungarian cuisine. Although in the menu you will find both Halászlé, catfish fillet, Jókai bob leves and Somlói gnocchi, but it is not a Hungarian flavor. The meals are of good quality, stylish and nicely arranged on the plate, but the taste is mostly bland-sterile. The premises of the restaurant are modern staff attentive and kind. The neighborhood is still being completed, but the environment is nice. Everything is quite expensive, prices as in the center of Bratislava and not as in Hungary. But what is absolutely intolerable is the extreme waiting times for food - we waited more than 1.5 hours before they brought us our main meal from the order.

Nice, stylish restaurant

The new Kuria restaurant is located on the road leading to Dunakiliti. So far, the menu is pretty limited, but a good choice for a new restaurant. The food is excellent and nicely served. The atmosphere is casual and the whole crew is friendly-you feel immediately welcome . I just hope they will expand the limited choice a little bit soon.

First, were served by 15 years old kids that had other things to do than to serve the 2 of 10 occupied tables - everything took ages. My wife had a trout fish. It was well seasoned and coocked perfectly. Pretty tasty but nothing special. The side salad was excellent. I had Hamburger - first imperssion - it’s so small. The main feature of the burger was duck liver, unfortunatelly they were out of duck liver this afternoon. Never mind, let’s see if they can make it up for the missing ingrediet. First bite and I was sure they can not. The bun was from yesterday if not from the they before, the whole thing was extremely dry and tasteless. Maybe it’s my fault expecting a good burger in a local Hungarian “csarda”, but it was listed as the second dish on the menu, so I was under the impression they’d know what they were doin. The result: Disappointment. I live near by so I may give them a second chance some time in the future, but no guarantees there. If you’re after a good local dish in the same price range, go for the excellent “Sari csarda” (10km) or “Tulipanos csarda” (10min walk) located close by.

Saddly poor quality of customer service. I don't know Hungarian and they know it. It was easy to guess what they were commenting on about us! That's why I don't recommend this place. Moreover, they CHARGE each customer an additional 10% for customer service. Probably every client who is not from Hungary :) In another comment, they wrote that they charge 10% for a table reservation. They LIE... I did not make any reservations and there was no any event there. I came from the street. The waiter wouldn't hand me the bill! He held it so tight I would have to rip it off :) I saw total price only :) I left a tip in cash! If I had known that they had such a policy, I would definitely not have left any tip in cash... Especially the quality of service is disappointing! There is no information in menu. The food was good. The portions were fine. We got it quickly. There is probably no traditional Hungarian food. They dont speak english. I would not have written this review if not for these negative comments. The waiter was smiling to us and he was kind. After visit I saw a lot of negative opinions about the service on the internet. Completely different service than in Bratislava or Ausstria just right next door. I will definitely avoid this place.

We made reservations on 11.6.2023 at 13:00 Pure Quality of Food , only 2 dishes for vegans - the most easiest one like a salad or papardelle, prepared very poorly. We had fish as well, half of it we leaved on the plate, was not fresh … In the builon the carrots were old and acid, like somebody cooked them long time ago and left in the fridge to acidify… Service: waiting for the soup more than 45 minutes, than we received it like help yourself…the rest of the food came very late as well, all chaotic. That was our last visit for sure there. Plenty of better choices around.

Keď sme sa usadili k stolu prechádzal okolo čašník pekne nás pozdravil a otočil sa chrbtom,už vtedy bolo zrejmé že sa mu nepáči že sme si sadli snažila som sa objednať kávu ale on sa otočil chrbtom zdvihol ruku nad hlavu a jeho odpoveď bola ,,cha cha cha ,, ako keby nás vyháňal z podniku. A pri tom stačilo nám povedať že ešte nemajú otvorené. To som sa dozvedela od jeho kolegyni keď so sa snažila objednať kávu a v diaľke som počula ako pán čašník na nás dosť hlučne nadával. 15 rokov som pracovala v tomto odvetví od čašníčky po manažérku reštaurácii a v živote som sa nestretla s takým jednaním k určite sa tam nevrátim a ani neodporúčam nikomu.Pani majiteľka by mala vymeniť pána čašníka lebo nerobí dobré meno reštaurácii...je to veľká škoda lebo všetko ostatné je na úrovni.

Best Somloi Galuska we ever had!

We went just for coffee and desert to this new restaurant. We had both Irish coffee, which was very good, and the Somloi Galuska was THE BEST we ever had! Now we are curious to go back there for dinner. The ambiance in the restaurant is nice too. Outside it isn't all finished yet, but after finished, I'm sure it will be nice too.

I loved this restaurant. They are providing fresh and delicious dishes from local and seasonal vegetables and meats. They speak Hungarian and Slovak, not sure if English as well.
