End of October, but it's almost full. We booked a table, and it turned out, we did it right. Friendly service. Food list on a blackboard. Everything was quite good. At the end you have to try the túrógombóc (cottage cheese dumplings?)...
Service fee included...in the price.
May of 2021, we'll be back again!More
Very nice place. Loved the coziness. The food was quite good. You should always call them and book a table. When we did we were told that “its quite hard” and can only get a table outside. When we arrived an hour later there was...plenty of place inside and outside and the waiter asked if we want to sit in or out, so i dont get why it had to be difficult.More
Definitely a must if travelling through the Káli Basin! Dinner was lovely, service was good, the only thing I wish I knew before is that portions are a bit too large for me to go for starter, main course and a dessert as well. I...am sure no one leaves hungry this place! 😅 However, when being there definitely worth trying as many dishes as possible, this was one of the main reasons we travelled there after all.
We had a pretty romantic dinner.
Worth mentioning that without booking in advance it is impossible to get a table.
I went for duck liver as starter, together with cherry and edible flowers, just lovely! Never had such a great duck liver.
Starter was duck leg with purple cabbage sauce, very good, I could learn sth. from the perfection of that duck leg, however, it is not a dish for summer, but I love duck way too much to not choose it each time🦆😅 next time I will go for a lighter, more summerish dish!
My partner went to tartar beef which was lovely, though the large quantity of meat I tend to believe is way too much considering the fact that after all, we are talking about raw meet, which is only starter, pursued by a lamb leg together with lecsó, a lecsó wich I would say is closer to ayvar then to the Hungarian lecsó.
For me lecsó is the dish I could eat each day, that lecsó I could eat 2 times a day and never get bored! 😊
Worth visiting if around. Important to highlight is that more than 6 do not fit at the table, therefore impossible to visit the restaurant in a larger group than 6, such a pity.
This place was recommended by the winery we visited and we were very pleased by the place. We attend for lunch on the way out from Balaton and this courtyard is magical. They served a modern Hungarian cuisine we had the tartar with an Hungarian...twist and it was excellent. The fish was very nice the wine list very good We had palacsintas for dessert peach and plum . Strongly recommend on a nice day in the courtyard for a very nice Hungarian gastro experienceMore
Truly amazing gastro experience in a charming countryside atmosphere. The service was kind and quite fast, the food was delicious and the portions were big enough. I especially recommend to try túró gombóc (cottage cheese dessert) here. It was the best ever!
The restaurant is a beautiful place for dinner. Great food, nice location. The food is fresh made from all the possible nearest local flesh and veggies and taste good. We were here 3x within 3 weeks and all 3 times we had new positions on...the menue. The prices are more than friendly -nearly the same as in Revfulop and much more better than in Badacsony. -1 point for the service: they are friendly and nice, but takes sometimes far too long to catch them.More
