My family and I are very fortunate to just live down the road from this lovely place. The family who owned this restaurant welcomed us in and was very friendly. They explained the dishes as well as offered wine to complement our meal. My family...enjoyed our meals and look forward to returning.More

This is the place to eat when you are out and about in the province of Vicenza. It's on the edge of town, next to a field, and a bit off the tourist path -- it's a place for locals. The owners take a lot...of pride in their offerings, which vary based on season and local specialties. The food is always amazing! This is one of those places where you may have a limited menu because the care required to make each ingredient. But boy oh boy, is it a treat! My favorite restaurant in the province!More

This is is my second time coming this amazing restaurant. This family has created some simply wonderful recipes, you can tell they were made with love. We came back because it was more like having amazing home home-cooked meal, with family than any restaurant we've...been to. I travel many weeks of the year, to many countries, and this has become a cherished place to repeat each visit. As they described how they made each of the local recipes, you start to get excited about the next course. Our biggest problem was choosing what to order, because you can only eat so much. It truly delightful eveningMore

Boy o boy! What do they serve here??? Appetizer from the house was a microwave reheated piece of harty cake. Then pasta with ragout which had a kind of almost spoiled taste. Main course was a steak which was tender but totally tasteless. Had to...end with a limoncello (not chilled!?) to get the bad taste out. Never again.More

I ordered a salad, they had this salad trolley allowing me to choose among from the 4 not very fresh green in it! A bad start! my pesto sauce spaghetti was just tasteless, I think I made better pesto sauce at home! My friend had...a pork chop, again tasteless so he have to put salt and pepper in it! Will not come back again!More

We were driving around aimlessly and just happened to stumble across this place. Most times when we are travelling and stumble across a place by chance, we actually end up having a mostly, bad experience. We usually go to places recommended to us by chefs...or friends. In any case, i was positively surprised. I had a filet that was sliced thinly with maldon salt on top - heavenly. I still dream about it. We also found out about the best balsamic vinegar here! :) superbMore

Our family has been going to Tre Scalini too many years to count with great satisfaction. Antonio, an avid cyclist, as well as a top restauranteur, his lovely gracious wife Sandra who always welcomes us warmly at the door and their son Edy(pronounced Eddie) serve one...of the most delicious authentically Italian spreads you will ever have the honor to enjoy. It resides in an old renovated stable( you park your car in the courtyard) with copper pots adorning the rafters along with other rustic antiques from the agricultural days of this little Italian town...the genuine love of food is present in the preparation of every dish..You will eat like a king (or queen) and be very happy when the bill arrives as it is so reasonable. I love their pasta dishes.. crespelle or anything with radicchio or white asparagus ..the menu changes seasonally so everything is prepared with the freshest local ingredients. The grilled meats are superb, cooked over a wood fire as done in the old days. My favorite appetizer is grilled raddichio topped with carpaccioMore
