Once we realised the distance this restaurant was from our campsite we almost didn't go. Tavertet is a the last stop town on a glorious mountain road. It was good to sample locally sourced food presented so well. The service was excellent and the owner made a real effort to explain the dishes in English.

Wonderful hospitality and the finest food to be found anywhere. We were six people and having an adventure in the wilds of Catalonia. This restaurant out did anything I expected. Wonderful food, incredible service and the best value in all of Catalonia. Go, relax and enjoy.
First class dining experience with local produce made by chefs who really know their food and love their craft. A great place to enjoy being well-fed and looked after for an evening

We were the only guests and were made to feel so at home - from the cava apertif and slow roast belly pork amuse bouche included on the carta to the ratafias with our coffee... More
