We visited La Maree twice as a large group (11) while staying in Grandcamp-Maisy, the staff was outstanding to work with and ensured we had tables setup, ensured both adults and children were taken care of, and went above and beyond to ensure we had...More

Depends what you order here but the oysters and sole was fabulous! Oysters medium size and briny. Yummm. So good you don't have to add any sauce or lemon. The sole was huge and can share if you want to give up half. (i didn't)...More

We called on spec for a family lunch in between visiting Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach & The American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer. Lovely restaurant with friendly, efficient service. All 5 of us started off with the House Cocktail - champagne, creme de mures & calvados...More

We visited La Maree whilst staying locally. It’s one of the best restaurants for location as it’s right within the harbour. However it’s a restaurant for real seafood lovers. The dishes we had were beautifully presented. They do have some meat dishes as an alternative....More

Best meal in Normandy. Oysters were deliciously fresh, risotto was divine and the creme brûlée for dessert was superb. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in the area - but make sure you have a reservation as it gets busy.

We stopped here for a lunch on a horribly windy day, mostly because it was the first open restaurant we could find, but we were very happy with our choice in the end. The restaurant was empty to start but filled up very quickly. So...More
