My first time ever staying in the Puglia area in the South of Italy was made that much more amazing because of my stay in Masseria Zanzara! I don't have enough words to talk about how great it all was there from the INCREDIBLE service...to the abundance of nature all around. First of all, the people that work there were so kind and attentive that we felt at home and well looked after because of them (Francesco, Pancracio, Eugenia, etc). The room was super clean and spacious with a cute little patio as well which made for a really relaxing place to sit and drink wine at night. The property itself was extremely beautiful! I could not stop taking pictures of everything around us! Lastly, the restaurant at night was such a neat addition where everyone came together to eat and drink and enjoy the wonderful weather and nights in the country. The only downside was the amount of bugs at night, but my guess is that it's a seasonal thing and the atmosphere was so pleasant that it almost didn't matter. To wrap it up, the best thing is its proximity to so many important and beautiful cities in the south of Italy that make exploring that much easier and worthwhile! It's truly an authentic Italian Masseria worthwhile!More
