You should come to this small restaurant just to meet the lady that takes orders and brings you your food. Her face expressions are something you have to witness first hand. As starters she brings6 you a few pieces of Parmigiano cheese. Then I had agnolotti in brodo that were just great. The options for other first courses were just... More

I've been there for dinner to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday with friends. We organize everything pretty late, and the madame that rules the place was very disposible. The food was great and she suggests what to eat very nicely. Everything we had was perfect, most of all the "Gnocco fritto". I had many of them in a lot of restaurants,... More

My wife were staying in a nearby country villa to do a bit of a food tour and came across this fantastic authentic experience because everything else was shut on Italian national day. We really wouldn’t have found this if everywhere wasn’t shut and we opened the door to ask about the menu. It happened the lady who runs the... More

We arrived to this restaurant by pure chance, after a stroll thorugh the pleasant city center of Fidenza. The restaurant is nice, modern style, may be a bit "cold", but you will be warmed up by the traditional dishes : pumpkin stuffed ravioli, really tasty and good, "pisarei e fasò "" ( small pasta with a beans in a very... This is a no-frills restaurant, with no menu and no wine list - the waiting staff tell you what you can have - and very limited choice, you get what they are cooking that evening. And a very good way of doing it, in my opinion, because everything is fresh and well-prepared in house. There was just one antipasta on... More

Super food! Fresh pasta made per order. I had the gnocchi with ragu which was fantastic and the roastbeef afterwards. The hostess was a real italian 'nona' who acted like she already knew us for 10 years and suggested what we should eat. A must if you're in the area!

It can't get any better: the kitchen is separated with a big window, and you can watch the chef to mix the dough for your pasta! everything is prepared freshly for you. Do NOT miss the "Torta Fritta" with the local Salami and Culatello (which i think is better than the prosciutto di Parma) as a starter. the owners have... More
