We came here the first time a year ago with ~10 other people, and left so impressed with the food that we came again a few weeks ago. This time were assigned a private space for 2 people, in a tatami area with seats. It was awesome to have some privacy at that cozy place. The food was truly amazing,... More

It was some good eating. I found the price of the beef to be very reasonably priced. It was a great experience. I would recommend.

Great yakiniku, as always in tokyo. Nice atmosphere, good for group of friends. Sit on the tatami floor (with hole for foot) and yakiniku burner in front of you. We opted for gyu-tan moriawase, harami, and rozu. The tan is amazing, so tender. Close to Ueno station, so convenient to visit by train.

This is a Korean restaurant located close to the Ueno JR station. You can get your own semi-private table, and you order meat that you grill yourself. You can choose different sets, and it is all very good. This is a good choice if you want to try something different. Dessert as well were very good, grilled banana with icecream.

Visited the restaurant in the weekend with my mother. We ordered a full set of Japanese beef and they offer traditional Korean grill for you. The whole set also included appetizer, drinks, fresh vegetables, soup and sweets. The only disadvantage was they don't have staff could communicate in English very fluently. Otherwise, we had quite great time!

Tokori is one of the must places to eat in Tokyo. Has exellent tradittional Korean food and Japanese. Despite the fact that employees weren't speaking English they were very friendly and offering service at any time. price range 8000 to 10000 Yen.

Staying in Ueno, Asakusa

Neighbourhood Profile
Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa. Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit a variety of different museums and galleries. At Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at the end of the year, when many people go on shopping sprees. The town of Asakusa, developed around Sensoji temple, has many shops selling goods and clothing from old Japan, making it a great place for souvenir hunting. It's also known for various annual festivals, and the whole district gets involved with the huge Sanja Festival in May.
