I ordered the "Deep Tsukemen", which has the slightly thicker broth. Love the broth, noodles, pork and egg! Everything was perfect and the service was good too. Authentic experience, will definitely come back again!

Service and ramen were good. It was entertaining to watch the chef draining the ramen in the kitchen!

The gf and I wanted to try dipping ramen and stumbled on this place, and what a find it was! One thing to point out is that like all popular eateries you have to que, but it is totally worth it! The decor was very nice and looks like the owner did what he can with the limited space, also... More

We found this restaurant a little hard to find as it was a bit out of the way and had no English signs. But we're glad we found it, as it was a decent experience overall. It was very easy to order with the ticket machine which had menus in multiple languages and the prices were very reasonable. We didn't... More

Me and my girlfriend have been there, thanks to all the good reviews here on TripAdvisor: the location is easy to find, you can't miss it because many people are waiting in front of there. The signature ramen was really good, you can choose the amount of noodles, same for the tsukemen. The pork meat was really big and soft,... More

One of the best ramen that I had in Tokyo. Had the most tender pork ever here and the soup base was good. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The English menu in their machine is very helpful. Recommended when you're in Shinjuku!

This ramen stall is another typical ramen stall for the working class Japanese males, with more fanciful wall pictures, layout and English friendly menu. Diners dine around the kitchen and present their vending print-out to their staff who will then prepare the ramen. The pork was pretty good but the rest seems to be pretty normal. The soup stock differs... More

Was very good, they recently updated the order machine with a new touchscreen and English menu. Should help travelers a lot. I had the regular Ramen and was really good. Only complaint was the pork belly was too tough / overcooked.

I had always thought Ramen were those little styrofoam cartons filled with dried chicken/noodles that you filled up with a cup of boiling water, let it sit and then, ate it. Well,I was I for a surprise tonight! My eyes have been opened! I had the best meal that I have had in Japan. What a delight! Again, it took... More

We had an average dining experience at this highly rated restaurant. Though we reached the place at 2 pm plus, there was a long queue inside the shop. Customers waited patiently for their turn at the ticket machine before they move in a line for their turn to be seated. Be prepared to wait for a while, especially if you... More

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
