We really enjoyed high tea here and left very satisfied. Everything was very tasty and the lounge and view were beautiful. Its worth a trip even if you are not staying at this hotel. We will be back each time were in tokyo.

Lovely afternoon tea. Wide variety of teas, in a beautiful atmosphere. Plentiful sweet and savoury treats, though a better balance of savoury would have been preferable.

Great location with spectacular views all around from the 41st floor of the Park Hyatt. Very nice for drinks, high tea, and small food. In the evening it can be pretty romantic. Beautiful setting, and good food..

This was recommended by a friend who recently went. Plus the attraction that Lost in Translation was filmed at the hotel (not this floor though). We thought we would treat ourselves to a night without the kids and head into town for the Twilight Evening session held between 5pm to 8pm each night on Level 41 in the Peak Lounge... More

In the evening, the ambiance is very quiet and pleasant. They have a good deal where you can have as many drinks as you want from their cocktail menu during a 2 hour time frame. The drinks are very good despite not being very strong in alcohol. They bring you canapés to go with it. It was around $50 per... More

This is a lovely place for tea or an evening drink looking over Tokyo as it is on the 41st floor. They have a twilight hour every evening where you get tapas with your drinks. The window tables get grabbed pretty fast.

On our last evening in Tokyo we decided to go to Park Hyat hotel. We went first up to the New York bar, but it was rather full and smoky (smoking is allowed up there), so we went to the 41 th floor to The Peak Lounge with its garden like setting and cosy athmosphere. We got the table by... More

The peak of joy is very affordable when you consider unlimited drinks. The view is just breath taking, reserve or arrive early to get a table by the window.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
