I have tried different fluffy Japanese pancakes shops in Tokyo and this one is pretty good but not the best. Pancakes are incredibly fluffy and light but they definitely have a strong eggy taste. Their drink selection is delicious. I highly recommend their hot royal milk tea. The place is extremely busy and I suggest making a reservation or getting there as soon as they open in the morning if you want to avoid waiting 2 hours.

My fam and I tried 6 different flavours. I think its not the best pancake Ive ever had. Its much too eggy for me. So I was kinda disspointed with the overall taste, especially after waiting and standing in line for 40minutes. The cream topping is delicious tho. I also thinks its overpriced.

My teen found this restaurant on Instagram and we thought we would give it a try. We got there about 11:45 on a Saturday and waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Get the Strawberry with white chocolate pancakes. Simply delicious! I would go here again in an instant. So good.

Restaurant opened at 10, got here at 10:15 and waited for an hour when there were 10 open tables. Only two waiters the whole time. Once seated, food and coffee took 35+ minutes instead of the 20 that was quoted. Pancakes were mealy. This place is overrated

We had some yummy pancakes here. The wait time from ordering does take a while (40 minutes) because of the way the pancakes are cooked. Menus are provided in Japanese and English. Definitely recommend making a reservation in advance (we booked via table log) as it means you can walk right in at your time. We walked past a queue of 10 couples. These weren’t the best pancakes we had during our trip but they were still delicious.

I visited Happy Pancake with high expectations after seeing numerous YouTube videos hyping it up, so I was eager to give it a try. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The pancakes, while fluffy and thick, felt more style than substance—they were overly eggy and almost airy inside, leaving you far from satisfied. The wait time can also stretch up to 40 minutes, which only adds to the letdown. Despite their appealing look, they simply don't deliver on taste. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it.

Total waste of time. Place empty 1 hr 10 minutes before closing. Trying to turn away a couple who had booked. It appears that they don't want customer after 1 700 hrs told reception was closed ( a till ??) Sign for the place had been hidden from view at the entrance exactly the same problems at the other one the night before. Far to much hassle save yourself time & effort and try one of the local bakeries excellent cakes and pastries.

Beautifully made pancakes but they tasted very eggy. The ice cream and syrup saved the taste but I wouldn’t eat there more than once. Slow service and a bit of a wait to get in. We all were served separately too

First we had to wait for about 20 minutes. I ordered a savory pancake with an omelette and a salad. The food was ok. A friend of mine had a sweet pancake and that one had a great taste! Next time I would order the sweet one!

The flavor was amazing, the food takes time so don’t go in a rush. The experience was good. I tried the sakura pancakes they were beautiful and delicious.

Wowza!!! Amazing to experience these fluffy bits of goodness made fresh and with delicate preparations of sauces and accompaniments. Can’t say enough. Foodies from New York and we’re blown away!

Pancakes here didn’t fail! Soft fluffy and light. Had a chance to taste the seasonal flavour, the strawberry pancakes too! Would definitely visit again if I’m in Tokyo :)

Worth to try in Omotesando area, have a good fluffy pamcakes. They have the savory one as well, until 14.30. The place is quite hidden in basement, but still easy to find and worth to eat pancake indeed.

I went with my sister -- it was incredible. I had the manuka honey pancake, she had the one with cream cheese and berries that was essentially cheesecake. We both loved our food!

Soft, fluffy, slightly sweet. Good any time of the day. We tried the savory versions. Oh, so good! The photos on the site exactly reflect what you get in the restaurant. Staff speaks enough English to be able to communicate without any problem, polite and prompt.

There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
