This branch always have Long queue waiting for their excellent beef. They do not have private rooms here to. So I tend to go to other branches unless I am stuck here and hungry.

This is the second time we came to Ningyocho Imahan for dinner. It has many locations and all of them are at popular area or top of department store. The first time we went to the one at JR Hakata Station in Fukuoka. Food was just excellent and we ordered the premium beef, it was delicious but more expensive. Later... More

This location is next to the Shinjuku station in the Takashimaya building on the 14 floor. I checked their website and Yelp and learned that they have multiple locations throughout Japan, and they offer high quality beef, and they have an English menu, so we decide to give it a try. We decided to get the Sukiyaki with high quality... More

This place has been around for more than 30 years. They offer the best beef of a mature three year old virgin female cow at a very high price. If you love beef give it a try,it is absolutely delicious. A 200-300g stake for two plus a bottle of wine can get you to more than 150€.

Went here on the first night after we arrived in Tokyo. This restaurant located in the 14F of Takashimaya building, Shinjuku. The shopping floors closed at 8pm but the food floors (14F and 15F closed at 10pm). Note that this restaurant has no English word written outside, but how we can tell? Look at the menu, if you see all... More

The beef was done to perfection. The beef just simply melt in your mouth. Dinner can be rather expensive.

I went to this Gyunabe (Sukiyaki) restaurant with a large group of people to experience the Imahan Wagyu. The main course was prepared in front of us and it was ok. Be careful if you are the person sitting beside the lady preparing the beef as you might get some sauce sprayed on you! Only negative was that we tried... More

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
