Situated on the 38th floor of the Ebisu Garden and, practically next door to the TOP museum, Chibo is the perfect place to eat if one visits the museum. We had a window table, overlooking the western parts of Tokyo, which also gave us a good view of one of the chefs preparing okonomiyaki. Very good experience!

Great restaurant with good service. It is a high-end restaurant at very chic yebisu area. The quality of the food is excellent! We didn't get to make our own Okonomiyaki though, it was cooked in the kitchen first and then placed in the hot pan in front of us. For some, this may take the fun out of making your... More

Great food and sake. Some items cooked at your table. Order the sets that come with multiple courses - you can't beat the selection, tasty bits, and prices.

Great views but book early and reserve a window table. otherwise the views are hidden. Okonomiyaki and teppanyaki are very good. Good friendly service. Reasonable prices.

The food is tasty, but if you opt for a teppanyaki, it s not to have the plates who are coming from the kitchen already cooked and ready. It was for me too fastfood. Anyway, nice vieuw, good service, not too expensive.

I've not tried okonomiyaki before and I was a little apprehensive as I thought you cooked it on the hot plate yourself, but in this place they cook it for you and place it on the hot plate for you to help yourself. The okonomiyaki was delicious, we had two different types and they were both great. We also had... More

We were brought here by a local, and it happened to be very close to the hotel we were staying at (Westin Tokyo). We got seated immediately and ordered two kinds of okonomiyaki (veggies/cheese and one with seafood) and some yakisoba noodles. It's a fun/different concept where they bring the food out and leave it on the heated griddle on... More

Free Sunday night prior to a work week with a colleague who had also never had this style of " pancake" and we were both pleasantly surprised. The menu was easy to navigate with photos and English subtitles. The chopped raw tuna prepared with avocado was excellent- as was the pancake and noodle dish we choose. Style is fun with... More

We went here with a local friend as she wanted us to try the famous pancake from Kansai - okonomiyaki. It was very good albeit a bit sweet. Also had the beef steak which was tender and juicy. Ended with a Yebisu beer which has a beer museum at the Ebisu Garden Place. Overall it was good.

i can't compare it to other places in tokyo, but this place served good (though maybe slightly overpriced) okonomiyaki, the hot plate and flowing beer made it more fun to eat at. the views of tokyo at night kept the conversation flowing.

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
