We ate dinner and ordered the medium combo. As an aftermath we should try to largest combo, 12 dishes?, due to variety. The portion is good for the smallest combo but it the variety we would recommend. If you order it yourself for the first time, you probably won't be bold enough to order some of the dishes. Make a... This place is in one of the small lanes but managed to find it with the help of Google map. Nice place which requires reservation. You will need to ask for non-smoking area otherwise it's hard too smokey. We wanted to order a la carte dishes but the server recommended the set menu instead. He recommended that we order 2... Better make a reservation before so you don't wait too long. I suggest to sit in the non smoking part, even if you do smoke, because you and your clothes will smell like BBQ for days. And my eyes were irritated because of the smoke from the cooking. We had the 10course meal. Staff is very fun and helpful, food... More

We went for early dinner at 630 which was perfect as the crowds rolled in after 730. We were happy to be ushered into the non smoking section which was housed in a completely different building. We had initially opted for the 10 course meal but were advised against it unless we were very very hungry. That was a great... More

Atmosphere is fantastic but food is a bit salty which is perfect to drink sake...if you want to be drunk by Sake, here is the best place in Tokyo!

We went in this restaurant which was recommended by a local friend, and we just found it amazing. We took one of the 3 "tasting menu", with 10 different dishes. From the Kobe sushi to the best sashimi ever. Absolutely worth it!

Enjoyed a 12 course tasting menu. It was to die for. Great fresh fish and very affordable. Recommend booking so you avoid waiting for a table outside as it's extremely popular.

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
