Booked this Michelin Two stars restaurant about 2 months before I even went to Japan. Did not disappoint us at all. Every dish was fantastic, and the matcha green tea making right in front of your table in the end of the meal was awesome!

We went to this place with high expectation and came out disappointed for the foods they served. All the ingredients were Japanese and very fresh, but the fusion of French and Japanese was something not quite harmonious. The service was excellent and impeccable though.

Service, food, wine, ambiance - everything was perfect. Every course was very different but went so well together. One of the top 10 meals of my life. It is pretty pricey, but worth a splurge.

This is our third visit to one of our favourite restaurants in Tokyo. There is something special about L'Effervescence that keeps us coming back time after time. We are not sure if It is the consistency in their high quality courses; the always-professional and courteous...More

After distilling thoughts over two other equally enjoyable French dinners during a recent Tokyo visit, it should be fair to conclude this is THE place to check out if one does not have time for others. It was our first visit and we originally thought...More

Akasaka / Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were
famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants,
bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of
Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the
area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot
to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art
Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art

L’Effervescence is a French word, which has the literal meaning such as “liveliness” or “bubbles” and also includes figurative meanings such as “to make something happen” “give birth” “to evolve” and “to make people gather”. It is said the original meaning of “Restaurant” comes from the word “restaurer = to recover”.
