I had a birthday dinner for my husband at this restaurant. This restaurant was in the Okura hotel Tokyo which was famous for its retro modern design by Japanese designers, but the restaurant will close in the end of August 2015 due to the hotel renovation. We wanted to visit there before close. Although the hotel was very chic, this... More

Breakfast buffet has mix of mostly western dishes with a few Asian offerings. Food quality is average and could be better given the reputation of this hotel. Service okay, not great. Expect a line of people waiting to be seated.

far too warm to be comfortable. Breakfast average, cappucino served with nutmeg rather than chocolate. All a little odd. I wouldn't rush back.

The food here is pretty basic, but the service is amazing. They somehow seem to know exactly what you want even before you ask. Everyone is so friendly and helpful it makes you want to come right back. The food is good and everything we ate here was enjoyed.

My room at the Okura came with breakfast. The terrace restaurant had a nice selection of both western and Japanese breakfasts. Like that they also had sparkling wine and vodka on ice for those there on vacation and wanted something a bit special.

I ate there for breakfast while staying at the hotel. It was buffet and there was a large variety of all things. You can order egg dishes on the spot to be able to eat them hot. Everything was fresh. I personally appreciated yoghurt and blueberry. They were excellent. There was also sparkling wine available. Not so often so at... More

This is one of two restaurants in the hotel that serve buffet-style breakfasts. It has decent Japanese and Western-style offerings, but it's nothing special. There are so many places in Tokyo to get great food, that I'd only eat here again for convenience sake. That said, the staff and service were exceptional.

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
