I found this restaurant on Tabelog and saw good reviews. As we have a group of 13 ppl with old and young, I thought I should call one week in advance to reserve a table. Called the main reservation line and an English speaking lady said reservation can be made immediately and set courses is normally suggested. I asked if... More

Quick summary: Went to expensive restaurant in hotel's building in order to enjoy high end service and quality food, but was disappointed in the level of service and treatment due to being a foreigner. Full review: We decided to go to this restaurant as we were staying in the hotel located in the same building and was recommended by the... More

I had a lunch course menu with business guests. The menu included Tempura, Sashimi, Grilled salmon and a bowl of rice. All meals were tasty and the guests from U.S. were also satisfied with the course menu. The price was 2,000 JPY = 16.5 USD and the lunch course menu is recommendable for treating foreign guests. Please note that you... More

Came across this restuarant when in Tokyo - it s very close to Roppongi metro station. For outside the food offered looked good and so it proved. Had a very good meal - sashimi and roast meat and the value was exceptional. Additionally soft drinks and tea and coffee are free and you help yourself. Definitely worth a visit

First and foremost, this restaurant is close from Roppongi station. It tooks just 1min by walk. Secoundly,it's calm and quiet. They have many cabins and it's not small(you know, there are many small cabins in Japanese restaurant)Also they have enough space between the cabins. In addition to above, every time I visit here, they have some available tables.(or I was just lucky) Yesterday,I visited here after... More

Nice place to dine in with your favourite friend to enjoy chatting with over glass of Japanese rice wine. Their selection of raw fish sashimi is tasty to make your time spending there more gratifying. Very comfortable place to relax for intimate conversations with your old friend. Waiter was polite and friendly enough to take picture of us. Highly recommended... More

Swift and friendly service. Perfect sashimi, perfect BBQ beef. Also my Japanese business partners were positive. It is in the groundfloor of the building housing The Strings hotel, so very convenient if you stay there.

We went strolling along the Ginza corridor (the address seems incorrect registered in tripadvisor as it should be 〒104-0061 東京都中央区銀座8-3 西土橋ビル1~2F) looking for a restaurant and ended up here as we were approaching the end of the road. We were walk-in customer without any reservation so we had to wait at the bar for 5 mins. The restaurant is nicely... More

Too little food for too much money.

Food is excellent, each dish has an origin and a story; the set menu in the evening is worth it; ground floor, it's accessible... Adventurous without being weird or replusive; not comfort food, for me the main drawback is the price.

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
