Have used this place for years... Enjoyed often.. Last visit however asked for some olive oil with the bread .... and for the first time found they charge ¥100 for a soya sauce amount of olive oil.. ¥50 for a tiny piece of butter... they fortunately don't charge for salt and pepper.. But that might be next... For a business... More

I was here for lunch, and the set menus are very reasonably priced, though rather light. (Most of the customers are "ladies who lunch", I'd say.) You can fill up on the French bread, though, and I know from experience that the more serious French cooking they do in the evenings is high quality. Bag a table at the front,... More

This restaurant in the calm area has a terrace seat with an open atmosphere in Ginza. I enjoyed cappuccino slightly smartly on that day.

Really love this place. Everything about it makes me feel transported to Paris. I wish I could tell you what various menu items are like, but their onion soup is to die for and I almost always order it. I was lucky enough to visit Paris for the first time last year and I thought the quality and flavor of... More

Coffee with pastries, glass of wine with a big "jambon beurre' or a juicy steak with fries, A.B. is fabulous for those simple staple of French cuisine. Haute gastronomie is isn't, and the menu will not win prizes for originality. But that's the appeal, knowing that you will find "escargots" or a "tarte aux citrons" on the menu, in one... More

I studied abroad in Paris, so I was thrilled to find a place with such good pastries and French food while I was in Tokyo. We went for dinner one night and breakfast two mornings. I guess we were burned out of Japanese food. I had a very good tomato soup and my husband had a good steak frites. The... More

I am a long-time fan of Aux Bacchanales from the old Harajuku days. There was an amazing employee at that location call Mr. Fukushima. I don't live in Japan now, but I visit from time to time, and I often eat at the Ark Hills location. I've also been to the Kioi-cho and Ginza locations. This time I had brunch... More

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic.
